Meet Julia Panasiti
I am Julia Panasiti, long time Resident, Parent and Business owner, running to represent you in San Dimas City Council District 3.
Being a small business owner I understand what it takes to be compliant with local city, county and state regulations and inner workings. Working with different vendor companies has given me the experience in engaging in contractual services that would serve our 3rd District residents. Yet, my most important trait is understanding the customer service mentality that is imperative in ensuring our residents are heard and served.
Being a parent raising a family in San Dimas I serve in my community as a member of the SDYSA (San Dimas Youth Softball Association) Board, working with parents and Board Members to ensure our program is run efficiently and successfully.

Our third district is the most dense of our city's district. I will work to make sure each and every family has access to the services of our beautiful city. Youth, Family and Senior Services will be maintained and enhanced to give our residents the highest level of quality services. As the most dense district, we need to make sure every age group gets access to services designed to bring the community together and enhance life in San Dimas.

Combat Homelessness Challenges
Combat Homelessness Challenges
With San Dimas in the midst of the expansion of the Foothill Gold Line, there is no question we may face the same fate our neighboring cities have encountered with having homeless people and the crime that is synonymous with increased unhoused populations. My focus will be in working, and if necessary fighting to make all government agencies responsible for curtailing these dangers. I’ll support our Community Action Team (CAT) who has been working very hard and has great plans in place. I would also want to put together a coalition of the Foothill city councils to be a stronger voice to the county to get the resources we need to help with the influx.

Smart Business Development
As your city council member I want to bring in new businesses that will add to the charm of downtown. I will work with city staff to make sure their hands are not tied by unnecessary restriction and red tape that has been giving San Dimsa a bad reputation as a difficult city to do business in. I will work with a coalition of San Gabriel Valley chambers of commerce to scout out small businesses that want to expand. I will work with city staff to create realistic incentives to attract them to San Dimas, ensuring that the businesses we allow will bring value to our community.

Equal Resources for the Third District
In San Dimas, our district is the busiest around, which means we've got some extra challenges in sorting out city services and resources. As part of the City Council, I'm all about looking out for what's best for our city as a whole. Representing our district, I'll make sure I bring a deep understanding of our neighborhood to the table. I want to keep the whole council and staff in the loop about the tough spots and the chances we have to really shine.
